Short version: your data is your data. Kora runs on your machine. We don't collect telemetry, we don't see your files, we don't train on your content, and we don't share anything with anyone. The long version below just spells out the details.
What stays on your machine
Everything Kora touches — files, prompts, tasks, results, history — stays on your computer by default. We have no servers that hold your content. There's no cloud backup, no “sync to our database,” no analytics watching what you do.
No telemetry
We don't collect usage data. There's no event tracking, no “feature engagement” logging, no crash-report-with-context phoning home. The app does not contact our servers to tell us what you're doing.
What we do collect (only when you give it to us)
Email and billing. If you create an account or pay, we store your email and (for paying customers) handle billing through a payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers.
Support emails. If you email us, we obviously have that email and whatever you wrote in it. We use it to answer you and then we leave it alone.
When you opt in to a cloud model
Kora can route a request to Claude, ChatGPT, or another cloud model when you choose to. In that case, the relevant request is sent directly to that provider under their terms. We don't intercept it, we don't log it, and we don't keep a copy.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't train any model on your content. We don't build behavioral profiles. There are no third-party tracking pixels on our website.
Cookies
Our website uses essential first-party cookies for login. That's it. No analytics trackers, no ad networks, no fingerprinting.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your account data, ask us to delete it, or correct it at any time — email privacy@intuitivecompute.com. We'll respond within 30 days. GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California) apply where relevant; in practice, since we hold so little data, requests are quick.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. The small amount of account data we hold is encrypted at rest. Report security issues to security@intuitivecompute.com.
Changes
If our practices change, we'll update this page and notify accountholders by email at least 30 days before anything material takes effect. Our default will always remain what it is today: collect as little as possible, keep your work on your machine.
